Great Books Explained

“A brilliant new series offering a fresh look at the world of literature” - Forbes magazine

Following the incredible success of the YouTube channel Great Art Explained, James Payne has launched a new series offering a fresh look at world literature. Great Books Explained is a collaboration, this time with academics, journalists, musicians and priests (among others). The first release was one of the world’s most difficult books, James Joyce’s Ulysses and the second was the ever popular Alice’s Adventures in Wonderland by Lewis Carroll. The channel follows the same winning formula as Great Art Explained, taking complicated theories and ideas and making compact informative films about single books.
